A seller can decline any offer that is still standing on their page. When they decline yours, we send you an alert, and the car leaves your Cars for sale page. No other buyer is told, and every other offer stays on the seller’s page.
You’re off that car
Once a seller passes on your offer, you can’t make a new offer on that car, raise the one you made or keep it going. If you open the car from the alert, its page says the seller passed on your offer. The conversation about that car closes too, so neither of you can send another message.
Only that car
A decline is about one car. Your offers on every other car stay just as they were, and you can still offer on new cars as they come in.
Sellers don’t give a reason
The seller doesn’t tell us why, so neither can we. The best way to stay in the running is to bid strong from the start and offer the earliest pickup time you can keep, because the seller sees both.
