How selling a junk car in Las Vegas works

  1. Describe the car online

Fill in a short form with the year, make and model, whether it runs, the title and when you need it gone. Add photos, the mileage and the VIN if you can, because buyers who can see the car offer a price they can stand by. There is no phone call to make and nobody to wait on hold for.

  2. Let the buyers battle

Buyers around Las Vegas who take cars from your ZIP send offers to your own offers page, each with the earliest time they can pick up. Your page shows the three who can come soonest beside the three who will pay the most, each offer shows the buyer's name and town, and you can message any of them through our site.

  3. Pick your winner and get paid

Choose the offer that suits you, whether that is the most cash, the soonest pickup or one near the top of both, and book that buyer's time or a later one they have open. The buyer tows the car for free and pays you the full amount when they collect it.

U-Pull Auto Parts @ Dis & Dat Auto Recycling

4.3 Las Vegas

Mostly a cheap pick-your-own parts yard in northeast Las Vegas, but it buys whole cars too. A recent seller got a quote one day and had the car towed away the next morning, for more than other buyers had offered. Towing is free. Nearly all of its reviews are about parts, so there are only a few car-selling stories to go on.

Don’s Auto Removal

4.8 Las Vegas

Don's has bought old and totaled cars around central Las Vegas, including a grandmother's wrecked sedan, and paid the same day it hauled them off. People said a truck came out right away, with no waiting around. Every review is five or more years old, so read it as a good past record rather than recent news.

Vegas Cash for Cars

5.0 Las Vegas

This northwest Las Vegas buyer leans toward cars that still run, like a Hummer H3, a Kia Optima and an F-150, and has paid cash on the spot. One owner had a buyer come to the house the next day to look the truck over and explain the price. It also hauled off a car that had sat for ages, and bought one hours before its owners flew abroad.

Nevada Pic A Part

4.1 Las Vegas

Best known as a self-serve parts yard in northeast Las Vegas, with a paved lot that parts hunters like. It also buys cars outright. One seller unloaded six cars at once for a price they called fair, with pickup the next day. Car-selling stories are rare in its reviews, and a seller at the chain's Henderson yard said a booked pickup never came.

Junk My Car Tik Tak Tows

5.0 Enterprise

A small tow and junk outfit in Enterprise, on the southwest side of the valley, that has paid cash on the spot for junk cars. Past sellers say the driver showed up on time, worked around their schedule and took care of the paperwork. The review history is short and spread over several years, with only a handful from the last year.

Cash For Junk Cars Las Vegas

4.6 Las Vegas

A junk car buyer near the Strip's west side that has taken cars with no title in hand, including one bought off Facebook Marketplace that the DMV would not put in the new owner's name. Its tow truck has shown up within minutes and inside the window it promised, and the crew speaks Spanish. One seller without a paper title was offered very little and turned away.

Calling yards yourself

  • You answer the same questions on every call.
  • Every yard quotes a different price, and you have nothing to compare it with.
  • You find out when each yard can come only by asking each one.
  • A price quoted on the phone can drop once the truck is in your driveway.
  • Your number ends up on every yard's list, and the calls keep coming after you sell.
  • Some listings that look local are call centers that sell your details on.

Nevada rules

What you need to sell a junk car in Las Vegas

  • PlatesYou take them off
  • Keep your plates when you sell. You have 60 days to put them on another car or turn them in to the Nevada DMV, or 30 days for specialty plates.
  • Sign the title exactly as your name is printed on it. If two owners are joined by "and" on the title, both must sign.
  • File a Vehicle Resale Notification with the Nevada DMV on MyDMV within 5 days of the sale.
  • Lost your Nevada title? Apply for a duplicate with form VP 012. The fee is $20 if the car stays in Nevada, and the form must be notarized.
  • Cancel your registration or turn in your plates before you stop your insurance. The Nevada DMV can mail a fine starting at $250 for an active plate with no insurance.
  • Federal law: if your car is a 2011 or newer, write the mileage on the title when you sign it. A 2010 or older car is exempt.

Checked October 2026 against the official sources below. Rules change, so if anything here does not match your situation, the Nevada DMV has the final word.

You might be wondering

How fast can a Las Vegas buyer pick up my car?

Every offer says the earliest time that buyer can come, and your offers page shows the fastest pickup near the top, so the quickest Las Vegas buyers are easy to spot. If you tell us you need it gone today, the list starts with the soonest pickups. You book the buyer's time or a later one they have open, up to a week ahead, so you can pick the time that suits you.

Can I call the Las Vegas buyers listed here?

We don't list their phone numbers. Enter your ZIP and the buyers who cover it send offers to your offers page, so you compare prices side by side instead of calling yard after yard. Once you pick one, calls go through our number, so neither side's number is handed out.

What do I need to sell a junk car in Nevada?

Keep your plates when you sell. You have 60 days to put them on another car or turn them in to the Nevada DMV, or 30 days for specialty plates. Sign the title exactly as your name is printed on it. If two owners are joined by "and" on the title, both must sign. File a Vehicle Resale Notification with the Nevada DMV on MyDMV within 5 days of the sale. Lost your Nevada title? Apply for a duplicate with form VP 012. The fee is $20 if the car stays in Nevada, and the form must be notarized. Cancel your registration or turn in your plates before you stop your insurance. The Nevada DMV can mail a fine starting at $250 for an active plate with no insurance. If you can't find the title, say so on the form and message buyers before you choose, because some can still take the car.

How does BeaterBoss work?

Tell us about your car, your ZIP code and when you need it gone. Screened local junk car buyers send cash offers, and each one says the earliest time that buyer can pick up. Your offers page shows the top offer and the fastest pickup up front, and you pick the buyer you want.

What do Top, Fastest and Best of both mean?

Top is the biggest offer on your car. Fastest is the buyer who can pick it up soonest. Best of both marks an offer that is among the three biggest and the three soonest at once. They only point things out, so you can still choose any offer you like.

Do I need photos, the mileage or the VIN?

No, but the more you add, the more accurate your offers. Buyers price a car from what they can see, so photos of the front, the back, the dashboard showing the mileage (with the engine running, if it runs), the inside, any damage and the VIN plate let them offer a price they can stand by when they arrive. The VIN is on the dashboard by the windshield, or on the driver's door frame. Please don't add a photo of the title: it shows your address.

Is it free for sellers?

Yes. It costs you nothing to get offers or sell. Buyers pay us a fee only when they win your car, and it is on top of their offer, never taken out of it.

Will I get a lot of phone calls?

No. Offers arrive on your own offers page and we text you when they do. Buyers never get your phone number, not even the one you choose: calls go through our number.

Can I sell my car without a title?

Often, yes. Many buyers accept cars without a title if you can show ID and proof of ownership. Rules vary by state, and the offer may be lower.

What if the buyer lowers the price at pickup?

You can say no. The offer you accepted is the price. Tell us on your offers page and we will step in.

Why isn't a Las Vegas business I found on Google listed?

It may not have met our bar, which is a 4.0 or better Google rating, usually from at least 10 reviews, and signs that the business actually buys vehicles. We also leave out call centers and listings named after search keywords.

Why are some buyers shown first?

Buyers who make offers through BeaterBoss are shown first, because you can get their price here without a phone call. They pay us a fee only when you pick them and they pick up the car; you never pay anything. Everyone else is shown in a different order on every visit, so no one is stuck at the top or the bottom.
